Leading World Expert Comes to North Wales for Annual Autism Conference - In Partnership with Integrated Autism Service

Dr Brenda Smith Mylesis an internationally renowned expert in her field and this July she will be coming all the way from the USA to attend Let’s Talk Autism 2023, as the keynote speaker. The annual autism conference, this year held in Llandudno, North Wales, will be a jam-packed day of knowledge updates and practical strategies and will change the way you think about autism.

Brenda is an inspiring, engaging speaker, with an impressive professional history. Having made over 3000 presentations worldwide and authoring over 300 articles and books on autism, there’s no one more qualified to be leading this professional development event. She has also been acknowledged as the 2^ndmost productive researcher of autism in the world and is the recipient of the Autism Society of America’s Outstanding Professional Award.

Brenda will be giving two key talks at the conference. The first will highlight her experiences in the field of autism over the past quarter decade (plus!). Emphasis will be placed on how autistic individuals have influenced her research, practice, and teaching. Later in the day she will bring us practical strategies and big ideas for supporting autistic individuals. These strategies are simple and effective, with a focus on making autistic individuals feel safe, accepted, and competent.
